Sinds de upgrade van de forumsoftware en het overschakelen naar de nieuwste php versie zijn er wat kleine dingen opgevallen in het gebruik van het GeoLeaks userscript. Probleempjes die zich zo af en toe voordoen, weken kan het goed gaan en plots zie je dan wat schoonheidsfoutjes:
- een knop die vrij traag verschijnt op de geocaching.com cache pagina
- na het plaatsen van een nieuw bericht een leeg bericht
- na het plaatsen van een nieuw bericht een niet aanklikbaar linkje
Her en der heb ik gezocht naar de oorzaak en al vrij snel kwam Tampermonkey als oorzaak bovendrijven. Ergens zit een vertraging in de verbinding en dat is alweer een jaar of acht bekend, maar een oplossing is er niet echt.
Wat ik van de week heb gedaan is het uitschakelen van het userscript in Tampermonkey, het installeren van Voilentmonkey als tweede userscript manager naast Tampermonkey (die kan je blijven gebruiken voor andere userscripts), het installeren van het GeoLeaks userscript in Violentmonkey en deze tenslotte inschakelen.
Dit zou een mogelijke oplossing kunnen zijn. De tijd zal het leren

Sinds vandaag is er een nieuwe versie van het GeoLeaks userscript beschikbaar. Om weer helemaal bij te zijn kan de update naar versie 2.5.8 worden gedaan door op dit linkje te klikken en de update/herinstallatie te doen. Er zijn in totaal 11 veranderingen gedaan, vooral met betrekking tot de wat kleinere landen in Europa, zodat die gelijk in de juiste rubriek vallen.

Er zijn de afgelopen weken de nodige meldingen binnen gekomen dat de ´GeoLeaks button/knop´op de cache pagina´s niet meer zichtbaar is. De oorzaak is opnieuw een update van Tampermonkey.
- open Tampermonkey
- klik op Dashboard
- klik op Instellingen
- scroll helemaal naar beneden
- klik op Tampermonkey herstarten
Hier werkte het gelijk weer, maar het kan zijn dat bij een ander een herstart van de PC/laptop nodig is als extra stap.
Over the past few weeks we have received several reports that the GeoLeaks button on cache pages is no longer visible. The cause is again an update of Tampermonkey.
- Open Tampermonkey
- Click on Dashboard
- click on Settings
- scroll all the way down
- Click on Restart Tampermonkey
Here it worked right away again, but others may require a PC/laptop restart as an additional step.

Op het forum zijn nu twee nieuwe rubrieken toegevoegd, te weten niet opgelost en opgelost Moldavie. Aan het userscript is inmiddels ook Moldavie toegevoegd en we zitten nu op versie 2.6.
Ik heb ook de uitleg over het installeren en updaten van Violentmonkey in bericht #1 van deze discussie aangepast. Het gaat om een wijziging in stap 2. De nieuwe versie 2.6 staat onderaan bericht #1. Met Violentmonkey is een script niet toe te voegen via een linkje, maar moet het even handmatig worden toegevoegd. Voor wie niet de mogelijkheid heeft om Violentmonkey te installeren kan het script uiteraard op dezelfde manier installeren in Tampermonkey.

Het download linkje om het userscript handmatig in TamperMonkey of ViolentMonkey te plaatsen in bericht #1 van dit topic lijkt niet voor iedereen te werken. Ik heb daarom de uitleg in stap #2 even wat aangepast en onderaan in het bericht de volledige code van het script geplaatst, zodat door kopieren/plakken de code in het script is te plaatsen. Het download linkje is dan ook verwijderd.

Ik gebruik meestal de Edge browser maar vaak ook Chrome of Firefox. Alle op PC. Ook in Firefox krijg ik het niet werkend.
Ik heb me samen met AI over het probleem gebogen en met volgend script krijg ik alles weer werkend in Edge icm Tampermonkey:
